SOIL Signs European Deal With AFM RECORDS
March 23, 2009Chicago, Illinois-based heavy rock band SOIL has inked a European deal with Germany's AFM Records. The group's new album is being recorded at Groovemaster Recording Studios in Chicago with Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, STAIND, FINGER ELEVEN) and is scheduled for release in late May. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Like It Is", "Temptation", "Surrounded", and "Picture Perfect".

Fan-filmed video footage of SOIL performing a new song called "Like It Is" on July 2, 2008 at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "energizerbunny82").
SOIL's latest CD, "True Self", was released in May 2006 via DRT Entertainment. The follow-up to 2004's "Redefine" was recorded and mixed at Bomb Shelter studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, TAPROOT).
SOIL will perform at this year's Chicago Powerfest on May 9 at The Pearl Room in Mokena, Illinois.
